Rhett Carson is a recently ordained Associate Reformed Presbyterian minister. Rev. Carson graduated with a Masters of Divinity degree from Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, FL. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in both Philosophy and Christian Education from Erskine College in Due West, SC.    Rhett is a native of the Carolinas and grew up in the A.R.P. denomination. He has been heavily involved in both planning and participating in our denomination's ministries to youth. He has served as First Presbytery's Middle School Director and as a member of the Summer Conference Planning Team. He has also served internships throughout our denomination including Christian Education Ministries, First A.R.P. Church of Gastonia, Highlands A.R.P. Church, and Bonclarken Conference Center. He served as Director of Christian Education at New Perth A.R.P. Church in Troutman, NC where he worked primarily with the youth for almost three years.   In January of 2008, Rev. Carson was ordained and installed as Associate Pastor of Youth and Young Families at Peachtree Corners Presbyterian Church.   Rhett married his wife Kathy in 2002. They currently have two children, Eben and Emily Jane, and are expecting a third child in April of 2008.
