Peachtree corners Presbyterian Church is a member of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Denomination. Thus, we have a Presbyterian system of government made up of the synod, presbyteries, and local sessions. Elders of the people have governed the church since the beginning of the church in the world. Our ruling elders are chosen men of the congregation and possess wisdom, discretion, sound faith and Godly life, and who are qualified under the standards recorded in Scripture.
The session meets at least once monthly and is charged with the spiritual oversight and government of the local congregation.
