Heart. Soul. Might.
Our vision in Children's Ministry is to live out Deuteronomy 6:5 and love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, and might.
We want to partner with you in growing your child's understanding of their relationship with God. To accomplish this, we have dedicated teachers working with children every week in the discovery of God's Truth.
For more information about Children's Ministry, please email Michael Kirkland.
On Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m., we use the Show Me Jesus curriculum with our young children to teach them about how they can have a relationship with Christ. They learn Scripture, sing songs, memorize portions of the Children's Catechism, and play games and make crafts around each week's theme. Our teachers are all loving, caring volunteers who have been trained to teach their specific age group (toddlers, preschool/K, 1st & 2nd graders, and 3rd-5th graders).
Sunday Morning Worship & Children's Church
We welcome children in worship and value their participation in our whole church community. We understand that children may wiggle, wander, or whisper during the service! All children are invited to the service. Children's ministry resources can be picked up in the Narthex.
We are a family of families committed to sharing the love of Christ both within our church and among the wider community. The links in the right sidebar provide additional information about our ongoing programs and activities, and we invite you to visit and discover for yourself.
On Wednesday evenings, following the fellowship dinner at 6:00 p.m., children ages K through 5th grade meet in the Children's Wing from 6:30-7:30. Toddler and infant nurseries are also provided.
When children make their way back to the Children's Wing they take on the role of Investigators. Together, we are working to understand prayer. We meet in a large group for a time of Praise & Worship and then break up into small groups.
The children are also learning the Westminster Shorter Catechism. Here is a link to the game!
