Children
At PCARP, we are dedicated to teaching our children about the love of Jesus and helping them to trust in him during their formative years. We desire to partner with parents to help kids and students experience Christ in life-changing ways.
Sunday School
On Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m., we use the Gospel Story curriculum with our young children to teach them about how they can have a relationship with Christ. They learn Scripture, sing songs, memorize portions of the Children's Catechism, and play games and make crafts around each week's theme. Our teachers are all loving, caring volunteers who have been trained to teach their specific age group (toddlers, preschool/K, 1st & 2nd graders, and 3rd-5th graders).
Join us on the 2nd and 4th Sunday Nights of each month for Connect. This is for everyone! We will have a catered dinner at 5 p.m. and small group activities to follow.
The children enjoy a time of Bible lessons, songs, arts, and crafts. We’re currently working on memorizing Scripture through the alphabet—a fun and meaningful way to hide God’s Word in our hearts. (Psalm 119:11)
Connect
Nursery & Toddlers
While we are a congregation that values having children present in the Worship Service—teaching them to worship alongside their parents—we also offer a Nursery and Toddler Ministry. This ministry supports parents by lovingly caring for our youngest children's physical, emotional, and spiritual needs during both Sunday School and the morning worship service.
We believe that children of all ages should be involved in worship. Our children’s choir for kids ages Kindergarten to 5th grade meet at the beginning of Sunday School on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month. Our Youth Choir meets at the same time on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month.
Both groups are directed by Music Director, Duane White, and occasionally sing in Sunday morning services.
